“After a prolonged drone attack that forced the occupiers to sit in a dugout, the 79th assault group moved forward. Their task was to get into the “hole” with the occupants unnoticed by the enemy. The enemy dugout, as planned, became their own trap. The blocked occupants had no choice: either to die from the paratroopers’ fire or to lay down their arms. After a short hesitation, they chose the latter,” the statement reads.
The AAF noted that “despite the hatred and contempt for the enemy who came to our land with weapons,” the stormtroopers acted nobly: they took the prisoners to the rear and provided medical care to those who needed it.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered the Russian positions, killed 17 soldiers of the Russian army and captured 12 more.
