Elderly woman injured in own backyard as Russia shells village in Kherson region

Russian artillery shelled the village of Tomyna Balka in Kherson region where a 70-year-old woman was injured in her backyard.

The regional military administration reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform saw.

“At about 14:30, the Russian occupation army shelled Tomyna Balka, employing artillery. As a result of the strike, a 70-year-old woman was injured in her own backyard,” the report says.

It is noted that the injured woman was rushed to hospital with an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to her arm.

As reported, 23 homes have been damaged by Russian shelling in Kherson region over the past 24 hours as one person was killed and five injured.
