Russia’s war casualty toll up by 1,340 in past day

The total combat casualties Russian troops have suffered in Ukraine since the full-scale invasion are estimated at 817,160, including 1,340 killed or wounded in action in the past day.

That’s according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.

The Defense Forces have also destroyed 9,803 Russian tanks, 20,394 (+13) armored fighting vehicles, 22,040 (+21) artillery systems, 1,262 MLR systems, 1,046 air defense systems, 369 warplanes, 331 helicopters, 22,579 (+13) operational and tactical-level UAVs, 3,049 cruise missiles, 28 warships/cutters, a  submarine, 34,325 (+69) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 3,699 units of specialized equipment.

The latest reports on enemy losses are being verified.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on January 17, as of 22:00, there have 155 combat clashes with Russian troops reported along the frontlines over the past 24 hours.
