A group of snipers from the 80th Separate Galician Air Assault Brigade has killed eight and wounded 12 Russian soldiers in the Kursk region.
The press service of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“Eight were destroyed and twelve were wounded. This is the outcome of the sniper group’s efforts during another combat mission in the Kursk region,” the post said.
It added that snipers from the 80th Separate Galician Air Assault Brigade, while carrying out observation and support tasks for other units, found themselves in the path of an enemy assault by Russian and North Korean forces.
“As a result of several days of fighting, the enemy was stopped,” the General Staff said.
