Russia deploys Shahed drones with enhanced 90 kg warheads – Yermak

Russia has begun using Shahed drones equipped with an increased 90 kg warhead and metal shrapnel to maximize civilian casualties, according to Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

He announced this on his Telegram channel, according to Ukrinform.

“Russia is now deploying Shahed drones with an enhanced 90 kg warhead and metal shrapnel to increase the number of civilian casualties,” Yermak said.

He added that “criminals and terrorists must and will be held accountable for this.”

Ruslan Kandybor, Director of the Transport Infrastructure Department of the Kyiv City State Administration, stated earlier that Kyiv was attacked on the night of January 29 by drones loaded with shrapnel.
