Injury toll from Russia’s strike on apartment building in Sumy rises to 16

The number of people injured as a result of a Russian drone hitting a residential high-rise building in Sumy yesterday has risen to 16.

The Sumy City Council announced this on Facebook, citing data from the emergency response headquarters, Ukrinform reports.

It is noted that in two days, 153 applications for inspection of apartments damaged by the enemy strike were received, and ten more – for damaged vehicles.

Throughout the day, work continued to restore utilities in the building that was damaged by the drone.

As Ukrinform reported, on the night of January 30, a Russian drone hit a ten-story building in Sumy. Nine people were reported killed and 13 others injured.
