State budget’s general fund gets UAH 123.1B in January – Finance Ministry

In January 2025, the general fund of Ukraine’s state budget received UAH 123.1 billion in taxes, fees and mandatory payments.

That’s according to the Finance Ministry, Ukrinform reports.

It is noted that payments from the State Tax Service amounted to UAH 75.0 billion, including UAH 36.6 billion of value-added tax (UAH 52.1 billion collected, UAH 15.5 billion refunded); UAH 23.8 billion of personal income tax and military duty; UAH 9.3 billion of excise tax; UAH 2.3 billion of rent; UAH 2.3 billion of corporate income tax.

Payments from the State Customs Service reached UAH 43.8 billion.

In total, the state budget’s general and special funds received UAH 276.7 billion in taxes, fees and other payments. In addition, another UAH 40.8 billion (as of 30 January) was received in the form of unified social tax to pension and social insurance funds.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine’s state budget received $3.8 billion in financing from international partners in January 2025.
