The latest explosions outside army recruitment offices across Ukraine, as well as random attacks on the Ukrainian military in the rear, are being supervised by Russia’s intelligence agencies.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalenko.
The official emphasized that the attacks on the military, as well as the bombings at the draft offices, are masterminded by Russia’s GRU military intelligence and the FSB security service.
In parallel lines, Russia is intensifying its malign media campaign to destabilize Ukraine, launched back in 2022.
“The Russians have been making particularly massive efforts to undermine mobilization and penetrate our media space (through bloggers, bots, and across social media) since 2024,” the head of the disinformation watchdog stressed.
As reported, on February 2, an explosion occurred in Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region, outside the local draft office, leaving one person injured.
Earlier this weekend, an explosion targeted another draft center, in the city of Rivne, where one person was killed and six were injured.
