Russian forces have significantly reduced their use of heavy equipment during assault operations.
Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi reported this on Telegram and shared a video of Ukrainian forces in combat.
“The systematic and professional work of our defenders in destroying Russian tanks and armored fighting vehicles has forced the invaders to significantly limit their use of heavy equipment during assaults,” Syrskyi said.
He also noted that “the focus on developing unmanned systems has enabled our strike drones to effectively target enemy equipment at long distances.”
Syrskyi recalled that “since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have neutralized nearly 10,000 tanks and 77 heavy flamethrower systems belonging to the Russian aggressor.”
“Combat operations continue. Ukrainian warriors keep striking the enemy,” he added.
