Throughout January, the Achilles Uncrewed Systems Regiment destroyed 406 enemy targets in the Kharkiv and Kupyansk axes, leaving another 1,536 damaged.
That’s according to the Kharkiv Grouping of Troops, Ukrinform reports.
“Late January, the unit was scaled up as the battalion was promoted to a regiment. We started manning the 429th Separate Regiment of Unmanned Systems, performing combat missions in two axes at once – Kharkiv and Kupiansk,” the report says.
It is noted that 120 units of Russian military hardware were destroyed and 160 invaders were eliminated with the help of unmanned systems. The unit’s operators also damaged 274 equipment units and left 260 invaders wounded.
In addition, the regiment delivered 158 humanitarian cargoes to the Ukrainian infantrymen deployed on the frontlines.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Achilles Battalion of attack UAVs that was part of the 92nd Assault Brigade was scaled up into the 429th Separate Regiment of unmanned systems within Ukraine’s Ground Forces.
