Sappers neutralize unexploded part of Russian Geran-2 drone in Kyiv region

In the Kyiv region, sappers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have neutralized an unexploded part of a Russian drone.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“A forester came across a suspicious object that looked like part of a drone. Without wasting any time, he reported the discovery to specialists. Pyrotechnics from the mobile rescue center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine found that it was a warhead from the Geran-2 UAV. The dangerous element was removed and transported for subsequent destruction in accordance with the standard procedure,” the report says.

Rescuers reminded citizens that if they find a suspicious object, they should not approach it and should immediately report it by calling 101.

As reported, sappers from the State Emergency Service neutralized the warhead of a missile that fell in the forest in the Chernihiv region.
