The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament, has approved a resolution ratifying an agreement between the governments of Ukraine and the United Kingdom on official credit support for strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.

MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak from the Holos party announced the decision on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

According to Zhelezniak, the legislative initiative, registered as Bill No. 0300, was backed by 245 MPs.

The ratification of this framework agreement between the governments of Ukraine and the United Kingdom allows for the completion of internal procedures necessary for its enactment. This, in turn, will enable the launch and implementation of joint projects aimed at enhancing Ukraine’s air defense capabilities.
