On February 3, Ukraine’s Air Force launched a high-precision strike on a Russian command post near Novoivanivka, Kursk region.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
“The command post, located in an abandoned building, was being used to coordinate Russian offensive actions against the Ukrainian defenders on the Kursk front. As a result of the operation, the facility sustained significant damage, leading to substantial personnel losses among the enemy forces,” the post reads.
The General Staff emphasized that the strike was carefully planned to minimize risks to civilians.
“Our goal is to eliminate all key command centers and other military targets of the enemy until Russian aggression is fully stopped,” the General Staff stressed.
As reported earlier, on the night of February 3, the Ukrainian forces struck the Volgograd oil refinery (“Lukoil-Volgogradnaftopererabotka”) and the Astrakhan gas processing plant.
