Yermak, UK’s Powell discuss implementation of 100-year Ukraine-UK deal

Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak had a phone call with the UK Prime Minister’s National Security Advisor Jonathan Powell, discussing support for the implementation of the Century Agreement between the two countries.

Yermak reported this on X, Ukrinform saw.

“I had a phone conversation with Jonathan Powell, National Security Adviser to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. We coordinated our positions on continuing the dialogue, particularly in support of the implementation of the Century Agreement,” he wrote.

At the same time, the head of the Office spoke of the battlefield situation and the needs of Ukrainian soldiers at the frontline. Also, according to the official, the discussion focused on strengthening Ukraine’s positions, which is necessary for the approach of a just and lasting peace.

In addition, the parties agreed to coordinate efforts in cooperation with the new U.S. administration.
