In Romny, Sumy region, 13 private houses and 5 apartments in a three-story building were damaged as a result of a night attack by Russian drones.
This was reported on Facebook by the head of the Romny district administration Valentyna Nazarenko, Ukrinform reports.
“As of 11:00 a.m., damage was recorded to 13 private households and 1 apartment building (5 apartments and 1 car were damaged),” the statement said.
Earlier, Nazarenko said that the residents of the houses were not injured and were offered accommodation in a dormitory.
According to the head of the RMA, at night in the sky over the Romny community, air defense units shot down three enemy UAVs. Three more targets were lost locally after the enemy opened fire on them. Since the beginning of 2025, 13 Russian drones have been destroyed by air defense units over the Romny region.
As reported by Ukrinform, starting at 20:00 on Tuesday, February 4, Russians attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Kursk region and 104 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of imitator drones from the directions of: Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, and Prymorsko-Akhtarsk. The Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 57 enemy drones, 42 were lost in the area.
