Ukraine’s Defense Forces shot down 57 enemy drones overnight Wednesday while another 42 UAVs of various types disappeared from radar, causing no damage on the ground.
That’s according to the Ukrainian Air Force, Ukrinform reports.

From 20:00 on Tuesday, February 4, the Russians attacked Ukraine using two Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from Kursk region and 104 Shahed attack UAVs and decoy drones of various types launched from Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
The air raid was repelled by Ukraine’s aviation, air defense capabilities, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
As of 09:00 on Wednesday, February 5, reports say 57 Shahed UAVs and other types of drones have been shot down over Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Kirovohrad regions.
Another 42 enemy decoy drones vanished from radar, causing no devastation on the ground, the report adds.
The attack affected the regions of Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, four residential buildings were damaged in the Kropyvnytskyi district, Kirovohrad region, by the downed drone debris.
