Ukraine’s forces strike oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Territory – General Staff

The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) units, in coordination with the Armed Forces and other Defense Forces components, struck the Albashneft oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Territory overnight on February 5.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian General Staff reported this on Facebook.

The facility, classified as a “mini-refinery,” processes crude oil and supplies gasoline and diesel fuel to the Russian military. The attack resulted in confirmed hits and a fire at the site, with further damage assessments ongoing.

Additionally, Ukrainian drone units successfully targeted and damaged a Russian Buk surface-to-air missile system in temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region.

As Ukrinform previously reported, a fuel storage tank caught fire in Russia’s Krasnodar Territory following a drone attack overnight on February 5.
