In late 2024, State-Owned Enterprise System of Electronic Trading in Seized Property (SETAM) sold receivables on the loan portfolio of PrivatBank CB JSC for UAH 2 billion.

The relevant statement was made by SETAM CEO Roman Osadchuk in an interview with Ukrinform.

“At the end of 2024, we sold a large lot – receivables on the loan portfolio of PrivatBank, totaling UAH 2 billion. This lot provided half of our trading volumes last year,” Osadchuk said.

In 2024, SETAM managed to earn an additional UAH 211 million for its customers, including state enforcement agencies, private executors and banks, through competition and an increase in the starting price of lots.

“Considering that we give 80% of our net profit to the state in the form of dividends and pay substantial amounts of taxes, we have something to be proud of. In particular, the enterprise paid UAH 58 million in taxes in 2024,” Osadchuk explained.

In his words, there are more than 103 thousand participants registered with the electronic trading system at the moment. A significant portion of them take part in auctions on a regular basis.

“This is a sign of economic recovery, as businesses are moving forward, making plans, and investing with an eye on prospects,” Osadchuk concluded.

A reminder that State-Owned Enterprise System of Electronic Trading in Seized Property (SETAM) sold UAH 5.1 billion worth of assets in 2024. Last year’s most successful auctions were a Lviv-based building sold for UAH 420 million, a Kyiv-based building – for UAH 136.6 million, and a group of buildings in the Kyiv region – for UAH 108.4 million.
