On the front of the past day, February 6, 101 combat clashes have been recorded between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian invaders. In the Pokrovsk axis alone, Ukrainian troops repelled 36 enemy assaults.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in its latest update on Facebook, seen by Ukrinform.
Yesterday, the invaders launched three missile attacks and 84 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and at Ukrainian settlements, involving four missiles and 138 guided aerial bombs, as well as 2,829 kamikaze drones.
In addition, the enemy carried out over 5,000 artillery strikes, of which 94 involved multiple launch rocket systems.
Russian airstrikes targeted the areas of Dmytrivka and Mala Rybytsia in Sumy region, Siversk, Zvanivka, Bondarne, Novo-oleksandrivka, Odradne, Novosilka, Novyi Komar, and Novopil in Donetsk region, Huliaipole in Zaporizhia region, as well as the city of Zaporizhia.
Over the past day, Ukraine’s missile and artillery units hit 14 Russian manpower and equipment clusters, as well as an artillery system.
In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian troops repelled a Russian attack in the Vovchansk area.
In the Kupiansk direction, five Russian attacks were reported as Ukraine repelled assaults near Lozova, Nova Kruhliakivka, Petropavlivka, and Zahryzove.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 20 times, trying to advance near Zelenyi Hai, Kopanky, Novoserhiivka, Hrekivka, Nove, Zelena Dolyna, Novoliubivka, Katerynivka, Yampolivka, Terny, and Kolodiaz.
In the Siversk direction, the invaders twice attacked Ukraine’s positions near Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, three clashes between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and the Russians in the area of Chasiv Yar were recorded.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians carried out 13 attacks in the areas of Diliivka and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukraine held back 36 Russian assault and offensive efforts toward Zelene Pole, Vodiane Druhe, Novotoretske, Pokrovsk, Pishchane, Udachne, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Kotliarivka, Uspenivka, Dachne, Andriivka, and Shevchenko.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled eight Russian attacks near Lysivka, Kostiantynopil, and Rozdolne.
In the Orikhiv, Huliaipole, and Prydniprovia directions, the Russians ran no offensive missions.
In Russia’s Kursk region, Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled five Russian attacks in the past day. The enemy launched 47 airstrikes involving 76 guided bombs, and 612 artillery strikes on positions of Ukrainian troops and at settlements, including 11 involving multiple launch rocket systems.
No signs of enemy offensive groupings being formed were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russia’s war casualty toll since the invasion has been estimated at 846,650, including 1,340 killed or wounded in action over the past 24 hours.
