President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed that talks with US President Donald Trump’s team are scheduled for next week.
According to Ukrinform, the relevant information was published on the President’s Telegram channel.
“The coming weeks can be very busy in diplomacy, and we will do everything necessary to make this time effective and productive. We always appreciate the cooperation with President Trump,” he said.
According to Zelensky, meetings and negotiations at the team level are also planned.
“Ukrainian and American teams are already working out the details. A strong and lasting peace should become closer,” the head of state emphasized.
Earlier today, the media reported that Donald Trump said he would “probably” hold his first meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky next week and also plans to talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin about the war in Ukraine.
