Zelensky appoints ambassadors to Moldova and Uruguay

President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed ambassadors of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay.

The relevant decrees, No.77/2025 and No.78/2025, were published on the president’s website, Ukrinform reports.

Paun Rohovei was appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Argentine Republic Yurii Klymenko will also serve as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Eastern Republic of Uruguay.

In addition, Zelensky appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Hungary Fedir Shandor as Ukraine’s representative to the Danube Commission. By another decree, the President dismissed Liubov Nepop from this position.

As Ukrinform reported, on January 8, Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Rostyslav Tronenko Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Mozambique.
