The Defense Forces of Ukraine have shot down 61 Russian drones, while 22 others have been lost from radar.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram, as per Ukrinform.
Starting 21:00 on February 9, the Russian forces launched 83 strike UAVs, including Shahed drones and various decoy drones, from multiple locations, such as: Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk
Ukrainian aviation, air defense missile units, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups repelled the attack.
By 9:00 on February 10, 61 enemy drones had been confirmed destroyed across Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.
As many as 22 Russian decoy drones were lost from radar causing no damage.
Russian attacks caused damage in Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, and Kirovohrad regions.
As reported by Ukrinform, in Poltava region, drone debris damaged buildings in a residential cooperative.
