As a result of an airstrike by the Russian forces on Krasnopillia community in Sumy region, two people were killed.
The Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram, as per Ukrinform.
“According to the investigation, on February 11, 2025, around 15:00, the Russian invaders dropped two glide bombs on the civilian infrastructure of Krasnopillia community in Sumy region using methods of warfare prohibited by international law. As a result of the attack, a 40-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were killed,” the post reads.
Additionally, the attack damaged an agricultural enterprise, vehicles, and buildings. Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the aftermath of the shelling.
A pretrial investigation is underway for war crimes that caused the deaths of people (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Earlier, as a result of a drone attack on a residential area in Sumy, two people were injured.
