War update: 112 clashes on frontline, Russia’s major offensive efforts concentrated in two sectors

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

“The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to resist the pressure of the occupying forces. The situation in the Pokrovsk and Kursk sectors remains tense, as the enemy is focusing its main offensive efforts there,” the report states.

The General Staff reports that Russian forces have carried out two missile strikes and 74 airstrikes, using seven missiles and 112 guided bombs. In addition, the invaders launched 1,091 kamikaze drones and conducted 4,314 shelling attacks on the Ukrainian positions and settlements.

In the Kupiansk sector, the Russian forces attacked the Ukrainian positions eight times near Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Novoosynove, Pishchane, Lozova, and Zahryzove. Two clashes are still ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, the Russian troops launched nine assaults near Kopanky, Novomykhailivka, Novoliubivka, Yampolivka, and Kolodiazi. Two clashes are still underway.

In the Siversk sector, the Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy assaults near Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka, and Verkhniokamianske, with two ongoing battles.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the Ukrainian units fought off seven enemy attacks near Chasiv Yar and Vasiukivka, with four ongoing clashes.

In the Toretsk sector, the Ukrainian forces repelled 11 enemy assaults near Shcherbynivka and Toretsk. Seven attacks have been stopped, while four battles are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy launched 30 attacks near Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Zvirove, Nadiivka, Uspenivka, Andriivka, Oleksandrivka, Dachne, and Shevchenko. Two clashes are still ongoing.

Preliminary estimates indicate that 220 Russian attackers were killed or wounded in this area today. The Ukrainian forces destroyed one tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, an armored combat vehicle, a mortar, nine transport vehicles, and two enemy motorcycles. They also damaged one tank, two armored vehicles, three transport vehicles, a self-propelled artillery system, and two mortars.

In the Novopavlivka sector, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 attacks near Kostiantynopil, Burlatske, and Rivnopil. Two clashes continue.

In the Huliaipole sector, the Ukrainian forces repelled one attack near Kamianske. The settlements of Novopil and Kamianske suffered airstrikes with unguided missiles.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Ukrainian forces successfully repelled an attack near Shcherbaky, while the Russian forces used assault aviation near Piatykhatky.

In the Kharkiv and Prydniprovske sectors, the aggressor did not conduct active operations.

In the Kursk sector, the Ukrainian forces repelled 13 attacks, with two battles still ongoing.
