Zelensky on Russian night attack: ‘Putin is not preparing for peace’

Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin is not preparing for peace, only strong steps and pressure on Russia can stop terror, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said on Facebook.

According to Ukrinform, he made this statement on Facebook.

According to the President, last night Russia attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles and drones. Apartment buildings, office premises and civilian infrastructure were damaged. All services are working on the ground to help people and eliminate the consequences of this terror.

“Unfortunately, as of now, we know about one dead person in Kyiv. Four more were injured, including a child. My condolences to the families and friends,” Zelensky emphasized.

As the Head of State emphasized, “this Russian terror against Ukraine will not stop by itself. Putin is not preparing for peace – he continues to kill Ukrainians and destroy cities.”

According to Zelensky, “only strong steps and pressure on Russia can stop this terror. Right now, we need the unity and support of all our partners in the fight for a just end to this war.”

As reported by Ukrinform, one person was killed and four others were injured, including a child, in the Obolon district of Kyiv as a result of a Russian missile strike on the morning of February 12.
