A phone conversation occurred between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump.
This was confirmed by the President’s communications advisor, Dmytro Lytvyn, as reported by Ukrinform.
“The conversation between the Presidents has just concluded,” Lytvyn informed.
According to President’s Spokesperson Serhii Nykyforov, the conversation lasted for about an hour.
As reported by the President of Ukraine on Telegram, during a phone conversation with Donald Trump, they discussed opportunities to achieve peace, cooperation in technology, and the preparation of a new agreement on security, economic cooperation and resource partnership.
“I had a meaningful conversation with President Donald J. Trump. We long talked about opportunities to achieve peace, discussed our readiness to work together at the team level, and Ukraine’s technological capabilities — including drones and other advanced industries. I am grateful to President Trump for his interest in what we can accomplish together,” Zelensky shared.
