On the morning of February 12, assault groups of the Russian army attacked Ukrainian positions near the village of Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia region, where the route was to be used by technical experts of the International Atomic Energy Agency for rotation at the temporarily seized Zaporizhzhia NPP.
This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, which released a video showing the actions of the invaders, Ukrinform reports.
According to intelligence, 13 soldiers of the 135th Motorized Rifle Assault Regiment of the 19th Motorized Rifle Division of the 58th Army of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces took part in the assault attempt.

Ukraine’s security and defense forces managed to prevent the loss of combat positions as a result of the invaders’ assault.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said that on February 12, Russia, following its usual pattern of threats and provocations, once again deliberately disrupted the rotation of IAEA experts at the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
