Starting February 17, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s Consular Service Department will resume issuing electronic visas (e-Visas) for citizens of 45 countries.
That’s according to the ministry’s press service, Ukrinform reports.
Electronic visas will be available for various purposes, including tourism, private visits, business, education, cultural and scientific activities, journalism, sports, and medical treatment.
The standard processing time for an e-Visa is three business days, while expedited processing is available within one day.
A full list of eligible countries and application procedures can be accessed via the official website.
Ukraine first introduced e-Visas on April 4, 2018, allowing citizens of select countries to apply for entry online without visiting a consulate. However, issuance was suspended in 2022 due to Russia’s full-scale invasion.
