Fighters of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade forced Russian troops to retreat from positions they had occupied on the Novopavlivka front as a result of assault operations.
The brigade published footage of their combat operations on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.
According to the report, the Russian forces had been attempting to storm the positions of the 110th Brigade for several days using mechanized units in this sector of the front.
The Ukrainian defenders destroyed columns of enemy equipment; however, the invaders’ infantry managed to achieve partial success. Nevertheless, the Russians were unable to establish logistical support for their forward units. The intensity of the 110th Brigade’s strikes made it impossible for them to rotate troops, deliver ammunition, or supply provisions.
The positions captured by the enemy were under constant fire. As a result, Russian forces were forced to retreat from the occupied positions.
As Ukrinform previously reported, since the beginning of the day, the Ukrainian defenders have repelled 13 Russian assault attempts in the Novopavlivka sector. The enemy continues efforts to advance in the areas of Rozdolne, as well as toward Kostiantynopil and Burlatske.
