On February 17, the Ukrainian Air Force carried out a high-precision strike on the positions of the 2nd Motor Rifle Battalion of Russia’s 64th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade near Chumatske in the Zaporizhzhia region.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a Facebook post.
As a result of the operation, enemy personnel deployment sites, fortifications, and a drone launch pad used for combat operations against Ukraine’s Defense Forces were destroyed.
The General Staff said that this strike is part of Ukraine’s systematic efforts to weaken Russian combat capabilities and neutralize threats.
Ukrainian forces continue to target critical Russian military infrastructure, depriving the enemy of the ability to sustain its aggression, the General Staff said.
