Rescuers recover man’s body from rubble of high-rise building in Kherson

In Kherson, the body of a 37-year-old man was pulled out from under the rubble of the section of a high-rise building destroyed by a Russian aerial bomb.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“Rescuers have recovered the body of a man from the rubble of the section of a high-rise building destroyed by a Russian aerial bomb,” the report says.

The press service of the regional prosecutor’s office told Ukrinform that the deceased was identified as a 37-year-old man.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of February 20, the Russian army conducted air strikes with ten guided aerial bombs on settlements in the right-bank Kherson region. In particular, three bombs hit residential buildings in Kherson. One of the strikes hit a nine-story building in the city’s Tsentralnyi district, destroying one section.

The twins who were injured in the enemy air strike on Kherson are currently in moderate condition. Their mother is still being searched for under the rubble.
