Russia will continue its efforts to destabilize the situation within Ukraine, according to Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate.
He made this statement in an interview with journalist Eynulla Fatullayev, according to Ukrinform.
“Believe me, neither the Russians nor we can come up with anything radically new or large-scale at this point. Everything has already been tested. Yes, there will be attempts [to destabilize Ukraine], but nothing critical — every action has a counteraction,” Budanov said.
He also spoke about the interrogation of captured North Korean soldiers.
“Our officers interrogated captured North Koreans. They reinforced my understanding of what autocracy and totalitarianism look like — probably in their most horrifying form. These are inhumane approaches that do not just create obedient people but actual bio-robots,” Budanov said.
