
Defense Minister of the Netherlands Ruben Brekelmans stated that 20,000 Ukrainian servicemen have undergone training at an EU mission center in Germany.
He shared this information on the social media platform X, as reported by Ukrinform.
“Training Ukrainians remains essential — not only for defending their country today but also for deterring Russia in the future. As part of the EU training mission in Germany, 20,000 Ukrainians have already completed their training. I am extremely impressed by our tireless Dutch military personnel and the brave Ukrainians!” he wrote.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, the EU Council has extended the mandate of the EU Military Assistance Mission in support of Ukraine (EUMAM Ukraine) and allocated €409 million for its continuation.
