During a phone conversation with President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that Europe must speak with one voice to achieve a just peace.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Ukrainian leader shared this on Telegram.
“I had a phone conversation with Czech President Petr Pavel. Our discussion focused on next steps, joint plans, and maintaining strong, well-reasoned positions. Europe must speak with one voice to achieve a just peace — and we will achieve it,” Zelensky stated.
According to him, the discussion also covered the continuation of the Czech initiative to supply artillery shells and a new proposal from the Czech Republic to support Ukraine.
“We deeply appreciate that, even in these challenging times, the Czech people stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine,” Zelensky said.
As Ukrinform previously reported, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Czech President Petr Pavel stated that the Czech initiative to supply Ukraine with large-caliber ammunition has already delivered 1.6 million shells and will continue.
