Zelensky speaks with Swedish PM: Europe must also be at negotiating table

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has briefed Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson on the details of his recent talks with foreign leaders.

Zelensky announced this on social media, Ukrinform reports.

He informed the head of the Swedish government about the constructive meeting with U.S. Special Representative Keith Kellogg and the details of recent talks with foreign leaders.

“We must be absolutely clear: nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine, nothing about Europe without Europe,” Zelensky stressed.

The President noted that the work is underway on a shared vision for security guarantees.

“A decision must be in place before any potential negotiations begin—and Europe must be at the table. What we need is peace—just and lasting peace, not just a temporary ceasefire,” he stressed.

The head of the Ukrainian state also thanked Sweden for its military assistance and all the support for Ukraine. He added that Ukraine is looking forward to the 18th defense support package.

As Ukrinform reported, during a phone conversation with the Czech President, Zelensky stressed that Europe must speak with one voice to achieve a just peace.
