The Russian forces attacked Kostiantynivka for the second time today with FAB bombs causing widespread infrastructure damage, one fatality, and three injuries.
According to Ukrinform, Serhii Horbunov, Head of the Kostiantynivka Town Military Administration, reported this on Facebook.
“Today, the Russian occupying forces attacked the town of Kostiantynivka for the second time using FAB-250 aerial bombs. One of the airstrikes hit the road surface and contact network, causing significant infrastructure damage. Fortunately, no civilian casualties were reported from this strike,” Horbunov wrote.
He added that three other airstrikes hit open areas in the town, preventing further casualties or injuries among civilians.
However, one of the airstrikes caused severe destruction, damaging apartment building facades, a gas pipeline, an electrical transformer, garage structures, as well as the facades of a hospital and a store. As a result of this strike, four civilians were affected: one person was killed, and three others were injured.
Additionally, two other airstrikes damaged the facades of apartment buildings and a store. According to preliminary information, no further casualties were reported from these attacks.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, the Russian forces dropped seven glide bombs on Kostiantynivka.
