
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Oleksandr Syrskyi met with General Carsten Breuer, Inspector General of the Bundeswehr, to discuss Ukraine’s needs for ammunition, equipment, and military training.
Syrskyi shared this information on Facebook, according to Ukrinform
During the meeting, he briefed his German counterpart on the operational situation along the front line and the ongoing transition to a corps-based military structure.
Syrskyi also expressed gratitude to the German people for their steadfast support in Ukraine’s fight against Russian aggression.
The parties discussed AFU’s current needs in weapons and ammunition, military and special equipment, as well as enhancing the training of Ukrainian troops.
Supply, maintenance, and repair of German-made military equipment used by the AFU was also topic of discussions.
Syrskyi emphasized the importance of continued Ukraine-Germany cooperation.
According to earlier reports, on February 22, General Carsten Breuer arrived in Kyiv for talks.
