U.S. Special Envoy Kellogg visits wounded Ukrainian soldiers

U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg visited Ukrainian defenders at the Irpin Military Hospital.

Kellogg shared the news on social media X, as reported by Ukrinform.

According to Kellogg, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink accompanied him on the visit.

“An emotional visit to Ukraine’s Irpin Military Hospital today to visit wounded soldiers/amputees with Amb Brink. Being with these warriors is why President Trump is absolutely right about ending this war. The killing must stop. 45-47 (U.S. President – ed.) will do it,” Kellogg wrote.

As reported by Ukrinform, Kellogg arrived in Kyiv on February 19.

He met with Ukrainian high-ranking officials, including Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha.

During his meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky, discussions focused on effective security guarantees and the return of prisoners.
