Rescuers reveal aftermath of overnight drone attack on Zaporizhzhia

Russian attack drones targeted Zaporizhzhia, causing damage to homes and vehicles and injuring a woman.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) in Zaporizhzhia region reported the incident on Telegram.

“As a result of falling drone debris, a 53-year-old woman was injured. She was quickly hospitalized by paramedics. Rescuers extinguished fires affecting a two-story residential building and a truck, covering a total area of 80 square meters. The blast wave and debris also damaged nearby houses,” the statement said.

Emergency services are actively working at the scene to address the aftermath of the attack.

A total of 23 rescuers and five units of emergency equipment from the SES have been deployed.

As reported earlier, overnight, February 22, the Russian forces launched drone strikes on the regional center.
