Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine rises by 1,180 in past day

Russia suffered approximately 867,180 casualties in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and February 23, 2025, with 1,180 soldiers killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine’s defense forces have destroyed 10,168 (+7) Russian tanks, 21,151 (+12) armored fighting vehicles, 23,582 (+54) artillery systems, 1,296 (+1) multiple rocket launchers, 1,081 (+1) anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 3,064 cruise missiles. The Russian army has also lost 370 warplanes, 331 helicopters, 26,428 (+117) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 28 warships/cutters, 1 submarine, 38,334 (+91) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 3,757 (+3) pieces of special equipment.
