Ukrainian border guards shot down four enemy drones of the Privet-82 type in the Sumy region.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“Yesterday, border guards detected the flight of four Privet-82 loitering munitions. The soldiers neutralized the threat with accurate fire,” the report says.

The State Border Guard Service noted that these drones are launched from a catapult and can cover a distance of up to 30 km, with a payload capacity of over 5 kg.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of February 22-23, Russia used 267 attack drones against Ukraine – the largest number since the full-scale invasion. In just one week, Russia launched 1,150 UAVs, more than 1,400 guided aerial bombs and 35 missiles against Ukraine.
