
On the morning of February 25, Russian troops attacked a border village in the Chernihiv region with unguided missiles, injuring a local resident and damaging a residential building.
Viacheslav Chaus, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“In the morning, the Russians attacked a border village in the Semenivka community. They attacked with unguided aerial missiles. There were eight explosions. A 78-year-old local resident was wounded as a result of the shelling,” Chaus said.
A 78-year-old local resident sustained a shrapnel wound to the leg and was subsequently hospitalized for treatment. Medics are providing him with the necessary medical care.
In addition, the regional governor reported damage to a residential building as a result of the attack.
As Ukrinform reported, on the morning of February 25, the air raid alert was announced throughout Ukraine due to the launch of cruise missiles by Russia.
