Russian attack on Kramatorsk: One killed, injury toll grows to 16

The number of those injured following Russia’s attack on Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region has increased to 16 people. There may still be people trapped under the rubble.

Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“At least one person was killed and 16 more were wounded – these are the preliminary consequences of the strike on Kramatorsk,” the regional governor wrote.

He added that among the wounded are four children born in 2007, 2016, 2017 and 2022. The search and rescue operation continues.

As Ukrinform reported, on the afternoon of February 25, Russians shelled the private residential sector of Kramatorsk. One person was reportedly killed and 13 more injured, including three children.
