
A Russian drone strike on Sumy has damaged several apartment buildings, shattering 148 windows. Rescue workers later discovered the body of a woman in one of the affected buildings.
The Sumy Regional Directorate of the State Emergency Service (SES) announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“In Sumy, emergency responders inspected the area targeted by the enemy drone attack on the morning of February 25. SES teams arrived at the impact site immediately, assessed the damage, and provided urgent assistance to residents. Blast waves shattered 148 windows in three apartment buildings and other structures,” the statement said.

The Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office told public broadcaster Suspilne that a woman’s body was found in one of the damaged apartments. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of her death, with a final cause to be determined following an autopsy.
