Billionaire Elon Musk’s Starlink project on Monday denied reports of restrictions on Ukraine’s access to its satellite Internet system.

“Starlink is fully committed to providing service to Ukraine. Any rumors to the contrary are categorically false,” Starlink posted on social media platform X.

Reuters earlier reported that U.S. negotiators pressing Kyiv for access to Ukraine’s critical minerals have raised the possibility of cutting the country’s access to Space X’s Starlink satellite Internet system.

Poland said that Warsaw has purchased Starlink terminals for Ukraine, has been paying and will continue to pay for satellite Internet, and therefore sees no reason to terminate a business contract to which Poland is a party.

On February 22, Elon Musk, SpaceX’s founder, multibillionaire and head of the U.S. Government’s Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE), denied reports about the possible shutoff of Starlink internet services in Ukraine.

On February 23, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that no one had hinted that Ukraine would be cut off from US assistance, including Starlink systems, but it is necessary to be prepared for any risk.
