Strike on Tsupivka, Kharkiv region: two seriously wounded, search for missing person continues

Two residents of the village of Tsupivka in the border community of Derhachiv in the Kharkiv region are in extremely serious condition after a Russian air strike on February 24.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said this on television, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Yesterday, emergency services worked in this village until the end of the day. As a result of the strike, two men are in a very serious condition in medical institutions,” Syniehubov said.

These are men aged 37 and 73.

According to Vyacheslav Zadorenko, head of Derhachiv CMA, the debris was being cleared at the site of the bombing until the evening, and the search and rescue operation continues this morning.

“According to available information, another local resident may be under the rubble,” Zadorenko said.

As Ukrinform reported, around 10:15 a.m. on February 24, Russian invaders attacked the village of Tsupivka in the Derhachiv community of Kharkiv district with an guided aerial bomb.  Men aged 21, 37, 73 and a 19-year-old girl were injured. The damage to 30 private houses, five of which were almost completely destroyed, and dozens of outbuildings was varying degrees.
