Soldiers from Russia’s 810th Naval Infantry Brigade in Sevastopol are urgently seeking transfers to other units to avoid being sent to the Kursk region, where Russian forces are reportedly suffering heavy losses.

The Atesh partisan movement shared this information on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Citing its agents, Atesh reports that casualties in the Kursk region are extremely high, and rumors that chances of returning alive are slim are fueling panic among Russian troops.

Some Russian soldiers have already joined Atesh and are providing valuable intelligence.

“Particularly noteworthy is the unit’s command, which is viewed extremely negatively by the troops. The reasons are clear — indifference to subordinates, forced assaults, and fear of sabotage within their own ranks,” the report said.

According to Atesh, a significant number of 810th Brigade troops are already preparing “surprises” for their commanders, which they plan to execute soon.
