President Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with Prime Minister of Portugal Luis Montenegro to agree on plans and further engagements.
The Ukrainian president wrote this on social media platform X, Ukrinform reports.
“We deeply appreciate that, in such challenging times, Portugal stands with Ukraine. A just peace with reliable security guarantees for Ukraine and all of Europe is our shared priority. We discussed our position on ending the war, as well as unity and coordination with all our European partners. We also agreed on our plans and further engagements. We are working together for a shared future,” Zelensky wrote.
He thanked Portugal for all the military assistance provided and for readiness to continue support this year.
As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to travel to London to meet with his European counterparts after his visit to the United States.
