French President Emmanuel Macron is going to call Ukrainian President Zelensky after his tense verbal altercation with Donald Trump in the White House.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by BFMTV.
“There is an aggressor, which is Russia, and there is a nation under attack, which is Ukraine. I think we were all right to help Ukraine and impose sanctions on Russia 3 years ago and continue to do so. And that we should thank all those who helped and that we should respect those who fought from the very beginning,” Macron said in his reaction to the events in the Oval Office.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that President Volodymyr Zelensky was “not ready for peace”.
As Ukrinform reported, a dispute arose between Trump and Zelensky, and the President of Ukraine left the White House early.
