Germany should immediately unblock EUR 3 billion in additional assistance to Ukraine, which should be one of the six elements that Germany and Europe should proceed with to help Ukraine and strengthen their own security.
They were listed in a special statement to the press on Saturday in Berlin by German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“First, we must rebuild our, German, support for Ukraine, immediately. I appeal to all democratic parties represented in the Bundestag to release the blocked EUR 3 billion in aid,” Baerbock called.
Other elements she proposed concerned EU aid to Ukraine, as well as increasing the defense capabilities of the bloc itself.
